Events

Come get your hands dirty as you create a unique Whimsical Sculpture. We will mix creativity with pleasure as we unwind from a busy week, enjoy happy hour drinks, spend time with community artists, and most importantly slab-build a unique piece of pottery. By the end of the evening your piece will be ready for glazing. You will select a glaze which will be applied to your ceramic piece when fired. Look for an email telling you when your piece is ready for pick-up and use. (about 21 days) Let the fun begin!

The Durango Arts Center is pleased to invite all local ceramists to submit their work to "Through The Fire!", A Functional and Non-Functional Ceramics Exhibit. Opening reception, April 12th, 2024.  Events ends May 11th. Please register here to show your work. Limit to 10 pieces, unless specified. Artwork that is not for sale or professionally presented and/or ready to hang, Will Not Be Accepted.
Gallery event is free to the public. 
After registration, you will be contacted to set up a time to deliver your artwork to the DAC.
