Summer GOAL - Girls Opportunities Through Art and Leadership - ages 11 to 15

This summer intensive art program is designed to offer each student a personalized experience in a small group studio environment using artist-quality materials. The students spend their time focusing on the visual arts in the areas of painting, drawing, sculpture, ceramics, photography, printmaking and collage with an added exploration each day of creative writing, poetry, or movement. Women artists teach in their areas of expertise and mentor the students through sharing their work and lives as artists. The students also visit local art galleries and art studios owned by women in the community. The summer session culminates in a closing exhibition of the students' work. **This class is by audition or resume/video submission only.  Limited spaces available. Contact jason@durangoarts.org for audition requirements. 

Audition requirements Wed DYT company class

-Prepare approximately 32 bars of any musical theatre song that shows off your range and vocal ability.
We will have the ability to play a track to play off a phone or tablet or a CD. **There will be NO accompanist to play live at the auditions**
A capella is totally fine for the audition.
