The summer intensive art program is designed to offer each student a personalized experience in a small group studio environment using artist-quality materials.  This summer our program will include social distancing while working in our gallery and outside, and students and teachers will be wearing masks at all times. The students spend their time focusing on multi-cultural visual arts in the areas of painting, drawing, sculpture, ceramics, printmaking and lessons on leadership and self-esteem. Women artists teach in their areas of expertise and mentor the students through sharing their work and lives as artists.  The summer session culminates in a closing exhibition of the students' work with an outdoor art show.  Students must be recommended for this program by at least 2 mentors.
